Want to show your support for cycling in Siouxland?
Then join members of the Siouxland Cyclists and the cycling community as the Sioux City City Council shares a
Blue Zones Proclamation. The announcement will be at 4 p.m. Monday, Dec. 5, 2011, in the city council chambers. A notice about the meeting was released today by Frank Brinkerhoff of Siouxland Cyclists.
Attendees only need to stay for the reading of the proclamation to show your support of the Blue Zone effort.
The Blue Zone project is aimed at promoting healthy living in Iowa cities and towns. Locally, it will help support cycling trails and connections to navigate through Sioux City, the release said.
